INTERCERT Global sp. z o.o. as Notified Body NB 2957 carries out conformity assessment of products according to Module B in accordance with the essential requirements of Directive 2014/30/EU of February 26, 2014. on the harmonization of the laws of the Member States relating to electromagnetic compatibility, which was implemented into Polish law by the Act of April 13, 2007. On electromagnetic compatibility. (i.e., Journal of Laws 2022, item 2233).
Which products are subject to certification for compliance with Directive 2014/30/EU?
The EMC Directive applies to equipment including any apparatus or stationary installation.
Apparatus shall be understood as any finished device or combinations thereof made available on the market as single functional units intended for the end user and which can generate electromagnetic disturbances, or the operation of which can be affected by such disturbances.
Stationary installation should be understood as a particular combination of several types of apparatus and, where applicable, other equipment that are assembled, installed and intended for permanent use at a predetermined location.
